Judges Lodgings offers a boutique hotel feel with a range of sizes of apartments. This offers many benefits not least a lot more space than a hotel room or B&B plus the added benefit of having your own kitchen and dining area plus the ability to share a living space with friends or family. This make them ideal for work colleagues, families with children or longer term stays. Below we cover some questions that you may want to know:

1. Do we pay in full?
Payment is 25% on Booking and the balance 28 days before arrival

2. Is there a minimum amount of nights for bookings?
Only Saturday stays are restricted to 2 nights the rest of the week 1 night stays are allowed.

3. How do we do check in?
Check in instructions are emailed to you at 9pm the night before arrival. If you have not received one by the morning of your stay please email us and we will manually send a copy to you. We operate by self check in and you will be sent the codes and address you need as well as useful information. Ensure you have an initial confirmation of your booking that will be sent as soon as you place your booking. If you don't there may be an issue or you might have entered your email address incorrectly.

4. Dog and Cat friendly apartments?
We do accept dogs and cats that are well behaved in all of our apartments. Especially suitable as they are ground floor are Judges 2, 5, Spa Villas 1, 2, 3 and any at The Queens Head as they have direct outside access. We do charge an extra cleaning fee to ensure the properties are fully cleaned ready for the next guests. This is normally £25 per booking which is added at the checkout. Max 2 pets except by arrangement.​

5. Is there a discount for longer term stays?
We offer discounts on 1 week and 1 month stays. We can also offer further discounts for more than 1 month stays. Do get in touch to discuss your requirements

6. Parking? I may need more than one space?
1 Space is included in your stay. If you require an additional car or more then get in touch as we can arrange that for you in our nearby overflow car park. The cost is £10 per 24 hour period per additional car. This can be added at the checkout.

7. I have a problem during my stay who do I contact?
Do give our number a call or send us an email if its not urgent. We live in Spa Road just yards from the property and will do our best to help you as soon as we can. Missing a plate or glass etc? Just message us.

8. I need information on things to see and do?
Our check in area section on our website it includes many useful numbers, place to eat and drink and emergency numbers

9. We are already staying can we extend our stay?
Yes of course do give us a call and we can arrange this for you. There wont be another cleaning charge added to the booking if you are able to stay in the same apartment.

10. Can you arrange an extra clean?
Yes we can. This is often used by people who are staying longer term and want new bedding towels and cleaning. Do get in touch it is £50 each time.

11. Is linen etc provided?
Yes towels and bed linen are provided. As are shampoo and conditioner

12. How equipped is the kitchen?
The kitchen has all the pots and pans etc that you could need for a short stay. Plates, glass, cutlery etc are also included. We also supply tea, coffee, sugar, oil, salt and pepper. We don't supply milk. There is many small food shops on Southgate Street just a hundred yards away. If anything is missing that you need give us a call to see if we can help

13. Are there restaurants nearby?
We are located just 2 minutes walk from Gloucester Docks Restaurant Quarter and 10 minutes from the city centre and Gloucester Cathedral. There are at least 30 restaurants and bars within 5 minutes walk of us.

14. Where can I exercise?
Gloucester Park is across the road. Is perfect for getting some fresh air. It has various suitable parts to use plus a children's playground if you are away with your family. Want something a little wilder? Then Alney Island just the other side of the river from the docks puts you in the countryside but with excellent footpaths suitable for a long walk or run.​

15. Games? Books? Cots? High Chairs?
Yes we have all 3 available. Let us know regarding children's cots and high chairs before arrival and we will ensure the travel cot is in the apartments (you need to supply your own bedding). We also have a collection of boards games and books for your use.

16. Is the internet speed good I need to ?
Yes each apartment is supplied with Virgin Fibre Optic High Speed Broadband. Generally considered the fastest option ​in the UK nationally. Normally speeds are minimum of 100MBs. Wifi is free of course.

17. Do the apartments have washing machines?
Yes almost all apartments have a washing machine and an in room drying rack. We can recommend local laundries if you would prefer to send out your laundry but we are unable to actually arrange this for you.
