First Civil War tour of Gloucester will be next Saturday 8th March. Meet at the Folk of Gloucester for 10.30 and grab a coffee whilst i set the scene of Gloucester during the siege, why we decided to resist the King, and the siege itself. Then we can walk the City as i take you to the key areas of the fighting, stand in the spots that saw much action and see some actual musket ball strikes and parts of the wall. Easy walking all on pavements, takes no more than a few hours including the scene setting in the Folk. The tour is free just please a donation to the Folk of Gloucester on the day.
