Wondering around the docks this weekend it was lovely to see quite a number of old boats moored up at Gloucester Docks and definitely something to go and see when you visit Judges Lodgings Gloucester. They are moored up by the dry docks on the far side of the main basin I presume waiting to have their winter over haul. These tall ships are replicas of the types of boats that would have visited Gloucester Docks when the original warehouse was built in the 19th Centaury. A picture I took is below whilst out getting some fresh air looking back towards Greek on the Docks.
The council have announced that they will be staging their biannual Tall Ships Festival in May (probably) 2024. This is a great time to explore the city. Look out for confirmed dates as soon as we have them
